Rosemary Pruitt, age 84 of Holland, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 3:25 pm.

She was preceded in death by spouse, Jim Long Stricklin, sons, Arthur Rueben Stafford, Jimmy Lee Arnold Stricklin, daughters, Regina LeRose Stafford and Renita Kaye Stafford Burns.

She is survived by son John David (Julie) Stafford, daughters; Ivy Lyn Stricklin, Sunday (Scott) Brown, grandchildren; George Scott Romero, Amanda Rose Stricklin, Elvis Aaron (Dawn) Stricklin, and John David (Stephanie) Stafford, great grandchildren; Ethan Lee Stricklin, Andrew Gilmore, Autumn Reimink, Aaron and Greg Stafford as well as many nephews, nieces plus many other children that loved and called her grandma.

She was also survived by her sisters Pearl (Ben) Conner, Rhonda (Jeff) Seigers and brothers; Bill (Linda) Mc Callister, Willie (Doris) Mc Callister, and Henry McCallister.

Rosemary loved everyone, had a spontaneous wit and a smile that could melt our heart. She worried about everyone but herself. She was humble and loved Jehovah her God with her whole heart and soul. She belonged to the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Holland for more than 40 years and recently transferred to the Grand Haven Congregation. She believed in the “Resurrection Hope” and instilled that in her children and grandchildren. She is only sleeping.

Burial will be in Grand Haven Township Lakeshore Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
