Surrounded by her loving family, Rosemary Goodwin, age 80, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at her residence. Rosemary was born in Shiloh, AL, September 27, 1936, daughter of the late Richard and Alva (Nee: Jackson) Hackworth.

She was a longtime faithful member of Greater Grace Temple Church where she enjoyed praying and being a servant for the Lord. A heart of gold, Rosemary was always willing and ready to help anyone in need. She devoted and cherished time caring for family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Angela (Keith) Mundy of Leesville, LA, Maurice (Clarice) Cantrell of Cedar Rapids, IA, Carol (Joseph) Salthouse of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren, Dominic Cantrell, Augustus McKinnie, Andre Allen, Kenneth Cantrell III, Kenisha Cantrell, Jasmine Salthouse, Joshua Salthouse; and her beloved great-grandchildren, DéVon Cantrell, Andre Allen II, Emari Allen; sister and brothers, Bessie Hackworth, Bishop Jimmy Hackworth, Lilly Warfield, Josephine Black, Superintendant William (Kendra) Hackworth, Geraldine Brye; host of other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene A. Goodwin; her son, Kenneth R. Cantrell Jr.; brothers, Richard, Robert, Sylvester, James; and sister, Rita Andrew.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Greater Grace Temple Church, 522 North Memorial Drive, with Pastor Jerry Cornett officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
