Rosemary Davies, age 89, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born December 8, 1926 in Chippewa Falls, WI, daughter of the late Adolph and Matilda (Nee: DeCaire) LaFrania.

On September 4, 1948, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Charles C. “Chuck” Davies who preceded her in death January 19, 2009. Rosemary was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, winters in Arizona, Square Dancing, and Genealogy. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Dennis (Laura) Davies of Minneapolis, MN, Gwen (Jim) Daly of Eagle River, WI, Peggy (Mike) Konieczko of Racine; six grandchildren, Ryan (Irena) Davies, Alex Davies, Matthew (Tiffany) Daly, Katie Daly, Kevin (Courtney) Konieczko, and Sarah Konieczko; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Daly; sisters, Nancy (David) Kading, Barb (Chris) Valley; brother, Wayne LaFrania; sister-in-law Dorothy Davies; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Kenneth (Elaine) LaFrania, Dale LaFrania, Thomas LaFrania, Dolores (James) Roberts; brothers-in-law and sisters in law, David (Betty) Davies, and N. Owen Davies.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., with Rev. Terry Huebner officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Tuesday 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Monica’s Senior Citizens Home, or The Wounded Warrior Project have been suggested.

The family extends a special thank you to PeopleCare especially Kimberly Lee and the Staffs of Lakeshore Manor and St. Monica’s Senior Citizens Home. for all of their loving and compassionate care.
