Rosemarie E. “Rose” Muzenski, age 97, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Monica’s Senior Living. She was born in Racine, March 13, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Nee: Salerno) Valente.

On March 30, 1940 at St. Lucy Catholic Church she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edward “Ed” H. Muzenski. For many years she was employed as a secretary by Moxness Products. Rosemarie was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In her younger years, Rose enjoyed dancing, traveling and golfing. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, playing cards and crafts. More than anything she devoted and cherished time with her family.

Rose will be dearly missed by her loving husband of seventy-eight years, Ed; her daughter, Sandy (Joe) Domanik of Franklin; her grandchildren, Michael Domanik of Colorado, Nicole (Brad) Wagner of Brookfield; her great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ava, and Ryan Wagner; two sisters, Mary (Ray) Stevens, Vilma (the late Jack) Christiansen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary; sisters and brothers, Vera (Mike) James, Peter Valente, Alfred Valente, Valentino (Norma) Valente, Vivian (Carl) Graceffa, and Valeria Peters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 5, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at St. Monica’s Chapel, 3920 North Green Bay Road. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at St. Monica’s Chapel from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Monica’s Senior Living or to Hospice Alliance have been suggested.

The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at St. Monica’s Senior Living and to Hospice Alliance for all of their loving and compassionate care.
