Age 54, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence. The Memorial Service to celebrate Ron's life will be held on Monday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W. Milham Avenue, Portage, MI 49024 with the Rev. Rachel Laughlin, officiating. Ron's family will greet friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church. Family and friends will continue Ron's life celebration with a time of fellowship and luncheon immediately following the Service in the Church Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's honor may be directed to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel (269-962-6022) is assisting Ron's family with his arrangements.
