Ronald Everitt

Everitt, Ronald W. Plainwell Ronald William Everitt, age 83 of Plainwell passed away on November 2, 2020 at his home on Pine Lake where he was a resident for 33 years. Ron was born on November 8, 1936 in Kalamazoo the son of Max and Ruth (Wichman) Everitt. Ron was a 1956 graduate of Richland High School and worked for almost 40 years at James River in Parchment. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved bass fishing tournaments and was an avid hunter. Ron is survived by son: Brian Everitt; grandchildren: Dustin (Kami) Everitt, Jessica (Brian) Lowman, and Travis Everitt; great grandchildren: Fisher and Jeffrey Everitt; significant other, Terry Watson, brothers: Max "Mick" (Ann) Everitt, Jim (Marsha) Everitt, and Tom (Pam) Everitt; sisters: Gwen Shepard and Deb (Ed) Flook; daughter in law: Jill Everitt; and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Everitt; and son, Jeff Everitt. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a small graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Prairie Home Cemetery.
