Ronald Bunce

Ronald Craig Bunce, 70, Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully in his home on October 8, 2017 after a battle with cancer. He was born on December 17, 1946 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Walter Bunce and Betty (Porter) Hayner and brother of Denny and Connie. Ron graduated from Comstock High School in 1965 and attended Western Michigan University and Michigan State University before serving in the United States Army as a flight medic during the Vietnam War. Ron was a Master Electrician and a member of the IBEW, Local 131 for over 40 years. Ron loved many things, especially music, sailing and his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Decker Bunce; four children, Chad, Anjanette, Ben and Jennifer; and four grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Elise and Tyler.
