Romane Sue "Ro" Feller

Romane Sue "Ro" Feller, age 78, of Schoolcraft, Michigan, passed away at home on Tuesday morning, July 30, 2024. Romane was born on November 20, 1945, to the late Everett Burton and Naomi Romane (North) Trowbridge. She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1964. Her education continued at Manchester College, now Manchester University, in North Manchester, Indiana. In 1968, she received her bachelor's degree in Business and English. Romane worked at The Upjohn Corporation as a senior copy editor, where she proofread various Upjohn publications, including medical literature and marketing and advertising. Romane was well respected for her commitment to accuracy and detail. Romane married Robert Clifton Feller on June 17, 1967, at the United Methodist Church in Kendallville, Indiana. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her flower gardens. Romane is survived by her husband, Robert, two children, Cristine (Michael) Culpepper and Mark Feller, and two sisters, Dianne (James) Robke and Linda (Donald) Wolford. Romane has five grandchildren. The grandchildren are Connor Culpepper, Katie Culpepper, Ethan Feller, Jared Feller, and Evan Feller. Romane always enjoyed spending as much time as possible with family and grandkids. Romane was preceded in death by her parents, Everett BurtonTrowbridge and Naomi Romane (North) Trowbridge. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Langland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, Michigan 49002. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
