Roger Sellers

Roger A. Sellers, age 85, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at Hallmark Living Center. Roger was born February 18, 1932 in Kalamazoo the son of Virgil and Virginia (Plott) Sellers. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Elks & Moose Lodge. He enjoyed dancing and collecting antique glass. On February 19, 1977 in Las Vegas, NV Roger was united in marriage to the former Marcelin Day who preceded him in death on April 24, 1996. Preceding him in death are brothers Richard and Robert Sellers. Surviving are his children; Jeffrey Sellers of Ft. Meyers, FL, Roger Sellers, Jr of Ft. Meyers, FL, Karyn Sellers of Kalamazoo, Yvonne Sackett of Bridgman, Kathleen (Michael) Stokes of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 10-11 am, Thursday September 21, 2017at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held following at 11 am. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South West Michigan.
