Roberta Krause

Roberta M. Krause, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 02, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Roberta was born in Racine, July 4, 1942, and raised by Raymond and Rhea Smith.

Roberta was employed by In-Sink-Erator for twenty-five years, retiring in 2007, and previously employed by Piggly Wiggly on Durand Avenue. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Washington Park Ladies Golf League. Her hobbies included reading, board games, scrabble, playing cards, and ceramics.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Faryn (Michael) Kachichian and their children, Drew and Paige of DePere, WI; Kurt Lantz and his children, Amber (Eugene) Brown, Aric Lantz, all of Racine; Kristyn Lantz of Racine; Keri Krause-Sparks (fiancé, Kelly Johnson), and her children, Gage, Avery and Sander; her four great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Jaydon, Gyanna, and Jhe’Naeh; sister, Dale (Jack) Gibson of LaQuinta, CA; brother, Kevin (Cindy) Smith of Racine; special niece, Shea Leech, other nieces, nephews, relatives, many dear friends and her feline companion, Brutus.

A Celebration of Roberta’s life will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Memorials to Countryside Humane Society or to the Racine Zoological Society have been suggested.
