Roberta "Bobbi" Domer

Roberta “Bobbi” Domer, age 95, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at St. Monica’s Senior Citizen Home. Bobbi was born in Fort Wayne, IN, July 17, 1920, daughter of the late Frederick and Ludmilla (Nee: Kleinhenz) Blue.

On June 28, 1941 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, IN she was united in marriage to Alan Domer who preceded her in death, May 14, 1998. Bobbi was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and belonged to the Human Concerns Committee. She was also actively involved with many community organizations including the Serra Club of Racine, P.E.O., Rotary Inner Wheel, Volunteers with Partnership of All Saints, Homemakers, and Volunteer Center of Racine. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Jeff Domer of Racine, Greg (Barbara) Domer of Madison, Melanie (James) Chars of Racine; daughter-in-law, Jean Domer of Sawyer, MI; her grandchildren, Scott (Lauren) Domer of Berwyn, IL, David (Sara) Domer of Chicago, IL, Daniel (Jocy) Poehler and their children, Daniel Jr. and Halia, all of Minnesota City, MN, Megan (Dan) Toomey and their children, Patrick, Michael, and Evelyn, all of Madison, Kyle (Rebecca) Domer of Madison, Kirsten Domer of the Twin Cities, MN, Becca Chars (fiancé, Nick Hansen) of Madison; brother, Ron Blue of Fort Wayne, IN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon; her son, Ric; sisters, Jan Zickgraf, Peg (John) Vosberg; and sister-in-law, Doris Blue.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to St. Monica’s Senior Citizen Home or in lieu of flowers, please plant daffodil bulbs in your yard in memory of Bobbi.
