Robert Zimmerman

Age 71, passed away on January 28, 2019. Bob was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 11, 1947, the son of the late Richard W. and Ruthann (Katzenberger) Zimmerman. He was a graduate of Portage Central High School. Bob was the owner of Sundance Turquoise Store and Superior Construction and a partner at B&B Siding. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed golf, bowling and boating. Bob also loved racing, especially sprint cars and spending time at Kalamazoo Speedway where his father was a flagman. He is survived by his only son, Robert R. Zimmerman, Jr.; brother, Michael (Vicki) Zimmerman; and nephews, Tony (Caitlyn) and Nick Zimmerman. In accordance with Bob's wishes no service is planned.
