Robert Thomas

Robert L. Thomas, age 48, of Plainwell, MI passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 in Plainwell. He was born February 19, 1969 in Detroit to Daniel and Nancy Thomas. Rob enjoyed fishing, computers and enjoyed following sports especially the Red Wings and Lions. On June 14, 2003 in Allegan he married Deborah Baker who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Nancy Cain; children, April, Zachary, Alyssa, Robert Jr, Jakob, Jessica and Sabrina; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Sheilah, Dinah, Danny ,David and Valerie; mother-in-law, Charlene Baker, sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Susan along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Victoria, father-in-law, Ben Baker and step-father, Bill Cain. Friends may visit with Rob's family starting at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Rob may be made to the American Heart Association.
