Robert Slocum

Age 63, passed away early Friday morning, December 23, 2016 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1953, in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Robert E. and Delores M. (Reading) Slocum. On March 10, 1979, he was united in marriage to Mary (Prichard) Slocum, who survives. Also surviving are their two sons: Jared and Jesse Slocum; siblings: Karen Eagle, Mark Dando, Rick (Lisa) Dando, Scott (Tammy) Dando and Tony (Christie) Dando; father, Robert E. Slocum; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his mother: Delores Dando; and brother: Terry Dando. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with a service to celebrate Rob's life beginning at 1:00 PM.
