Reed, Robert E. 2/10/1948 - 9/29/2021 Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Robert was born February 10, 1948 in Niles the son of Wilbur and Dorothy (Isrow) Reed. He retired from Preferred Plastics was a foster parent for many years and enjoyed fishing with his sons and gardening. On December 31, 1966 in Kalamazoo Robert was united in marriage to the former Norma Warfield who preceded him in death on December 4 2009. Also preceding him in death are his parents, a brother, granddaughter, Ashley Melson. Surviving are his children, Robert (Jolene) Reed, II of Comstock, Brian (Melanie Pearson) Reed of White Pigeon, Jason (Brook Manley-Reed) Reed of Gobles, Danny Reed, Connie (Joe) Edgley of Kalamazoo, Mike Reed of Colorado, Sasha (Brad) Mason of Kalamazoo, Velma (Bucky) Block of Parchment, Holly Reed of Kalamazoo, Danielle Reed of Kalamazoo, Ashley Reed of Arizona; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several brothers, sisters and nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held 2 pm Wednesday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
