Bob was born November 22, 1927 in Alpena; the son of Franklin and Helen (Landry) Mousseau. A veteran, Bob served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty four years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. Bob received his Master's Degree with top honors from Central Michigan University. An electronics instructor at State Technical Institute for eighteen years, Bob retired as department chairman. Bob was an active and charter member of the Delton Rotary Club and he traveled to Casa Amparo; an orphanage in Reynosa, Mexico, numerous times to work and inspire everyone. Bob was also a member of the Lions Clubs in Delton and Tucson, AZ, the Moose Lodge 1649, Delton, the Masonic Lodge, Hickory Corners American Legion Post 484, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Bob was a master euchre, bridge, and pinochle player, who had a great since of humor, was a great dancer, and he spent his life helping others. He will be remembered as a very generous man. On November 21, 1953, Bob married the love of his life, the former Genevieve G. Baker, and she preceded him in death on September 24, 1999. Bob is survived by his children: Charles (Carrie) Mousseau, Mary Mousseau, Kathryn (William) Moon, and Patti Mousseau, brothers: Jerry Mousseau and Alan Joseph (Delynn) Mousseau, grandchildren: Sarah (Myles Musser) Moon, Daniel Moon, Chelsea Moon, Cindy Moon and Genevieve Mousseau, great grandchildren: Lillie Krage, Liam Musser, Gavin Musser, Leo Krage and Triston Dobbs, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Jack Mousseau and Wayne Mousseau, sisters: Rosemary Mousseau, Shirley Sommerfeld and Jeanne Mischley, and a grandson; William Robert Moon. Bob's family will receive friends Thursday 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Friday 11:00 - 12:00 at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton; where his funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 14, 2016, 12:00 Noon, Pastor Jeff Worden, officiating. Burial with full military honors will be conducted at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association or Lions Club International will be appreciated.
