He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324 and the Michigan Road Builders Association. Moe was involved in the development and ownership of the Lynx golf course and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and adventure with friends and family. Travels took him to many interesting places, including Alaska and Africa and everywhere in between, including twelve years in Alabama's Gulf Shores where Jean and Moe hosted friends and relatives. Moe supported many wildlife and conservation associations and philanthropic causes over the years. He was a founding member of Wings Home, Allegan, for the last nine years, finding that especially rewarding and an important community resource. Moe continued to live an active life throughout his retirement years with passion, love and energy. We already miss him greatly as we still find a way to smile when thinking about him. He cared about what he did, how he did it, and how it might help the people around him. Hats off to Moe as we celebrate this man and carry on his lessons. Memorials can be made to Wings Home, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
