Robert Meconi

Robert John Meconi, age 77, passed on Sunday, May 30th, 2021, at Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, from complications arising from chronic health issues. Born on January 27th, 1944, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Robert grew up in Michigan, graduated college, and played football in Canada. His work as a business and manufacturing consultant allowed him to live in many parts of the United States and Puerto Rico, later retiring to Las Vegas. Bob was a caring, thoughtful soul who enjoyed fishing and boating, loved the beach and the water, travel, and driving his car around the country. He cared for and spoiled the family dogs, spending his time with his family playing many games, especially poker around the kitchen table. Survivors include his son Mitchell (Michelle) with grandchildren Savannah and Nicholas, a daughter Kristi with grandchildren Benson and Ford, a sister, 2 daughters and grandchildren from a first marriage, and friends. Robert was cremated, and will be laid to rest alongside his wife Linda, who preceded him in death. A private service will be held on June 27th, 2021. Immediately following, a wake will be held for family and friends at La Cantina restaurant in Paw Paw, Michigan, 5pm.
