Robert Lamb

Robert Roy Lamb of Lawton, MI born October 13, 1941, Mt. Clemons, MI, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family August 12, 2017. Robert graduated with his Bachelors Degree from Michigan State Oakland University in 1969. He joined the Navy and served as a Corpman four years and four months. He completed his Masters Degree in Psychology at Duqesne University, Pittsburgh, 1972. Robert's work history included Probation Officer in Mt. Clemons, a testing Psychologist at Western Psychiatric in Pittsburgh for three years before joining the Van Buren Community Mental Health for 23 years, followed by Newaygo Mental Health, White Cloud, MI. During his years of service he positively touched many lives. Robert is survived by many of his blended family including, Janet, his son, Christopher, Portland, OR, daughter, Sarah Lamb, San Francisco, his siblings, Barbara Voelker, Mt. Clemons, MI, Jean Quiring, Reno, NV, step sons, David and Russ Dodge. His grandchildren include, Robert Elliott and Emily Lamb, Zachary, Hailey, Frankie, April and Jamie Dodge. Robert was loved and will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place at Robert's request. There will be a celebration of his life, October 7, 2017.
