Robert Curtis

Robert K. Curtis, age 81, Mattawan, MI passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at home. Robert was born May 25, 1933 in Coleman the son of Social and Dorothy (Marble) Curtis. He was united in marriage to Virginia (Crummel) Curtis who preceded him in death Jan. 18, 2008. On Jan. 20, 2014 he was united in marriage to Shirley (Clark) Curtis who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Terry (John) Dyer of Lawton, Carol (Jerry) Trowbridge of Paw Paw, Jean (Larry) Palmatier of Grand Junction; son, Robert (Ellie) Curtis of Lawton; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Lucy Similik of Coleman; two step sisters, Joyce Homes, Norma Mateer; two step-brothers, Charles Taylor, William Taylor. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Delano; sister, Doris Ormanovich; brother, Gerald Curtis; step-sister, Marion Trumble. Friends will be received 11-1 pm Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held at 1 pm. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bronson Hospice.
