For over 30 years, he worked as a millrat for Crown Vantage followed by 12 years at International Paper. He also owned his own business for a short time called Bo's Boys Construction. He was a believer in God, a true family man, and hero to his wife and many others. A memorial service led by Leroy Abernathy will be held at 1:00 Saturday, June 2 at Kalamazoo First Assembly of God located at 5550 Oakland Dr., Portage, MI. In honor of Bob's love for grilling in the backyard, there will be a cookout held at his sister's home following the service.
