Barram , Robert Edward peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior, August 23, 2021 at 6:00 A.M. in Locust Grove, GA. He was born January 29, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert John and Lois Barram. The family moved to Kalamazoo, MI, where he helped his father in his grocery store. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High school in 1949. He met his wife Mildred while working at the store and they were married on February 2, 1951. He is survived by his wife Mildred of 70 years, children Robert & Chuanpit Barram, Jane Bender, and Cheryl & Mike Moore. They have 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Still living are 4 sisters and 3 brothers in law. He was a meat cutter by trade and together they became missionaries for CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship), for over 41 years. He served the Lord with his wife Mildred, teaching and training teenagers to be leaders of 5 Day Clubs, Good News Clubs and VBS programs. This took place in Michigan, West Virginia and Florida. After retiring from CEF he continued reaching out to children with the message of salvation through wooden animals and puzzles made in his shop. These were sent around the world to other mission groups. He also used magic presentations to reach others with the gospel. He prayed for and spent time keeping in touch with his family throughout the U.S. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class in McDonough, GA. A memorial service will be held at Vicksburg Bible Church, Vicksburg, MI on September 18, 2021 at 2 P.M.
