Robert H. Angle, 84 of Allegan, MI passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at White Oaks Assisted Living in Lawton. Mr. Angle was born in Fanwood, New Jersey on March 24, 1932, the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Willis) Angle. Bob completed high school and went on to earn his Master's Degree from Michigan State University where he proved he was not only an academic scholar, but also a gifted baseball player, playing on the Spartans baseball team. After college, he accepted a position with the Allegan Public Schools and taught high school biology for over 31 years. There he was known as "Biology Bob" a man with a great sense of humor but with little to no filter. Bob also coached AHS baseball for 20 years. He was a man of great integrity and compassion, a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather, as well as a true friend. Spending time at his cabin and fishing for trout on the East Branch of the Fox River were two of his great pastimes. Bob is survived by his children: Bob and Marcia Angle, Steve and Misty Angle, Patty and Brad Parliament; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Sue Angle; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta "Bobbi" and brother, Raymond Angle. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 29 from 4-6pm at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 30 at 2pm, Pastor Adam Potgezier officiating.
