Rita A. Modesti

Rita A. Modesti, age 83, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Rita was born in Milwaukee, WI, June 8, 1933, daughter of the late Robert and Esther (Nee: Loppnow) Lange.

Rita was employed by Toledo Scale for twenty years, retiring in 1994. She was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She devoted and cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Donna (Louis) Noppe of Racine, Blaine (Sandy) Pfeffer of Franksville, Bryon Pfeffer of Racine, Bruce Pfeffer of Franksville, Blair (Angela) Pfeffer of Racine; her stepchildren, Cindy (Jeff) Vanelzen, Butch (Sherry) Modesti, all of Racine; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Alex Modesti on November 22, 2000.

Per Rita’s request, private services will be held.
