Richard Servis

Richard L. Servis (Dick), age 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Kalamazoo, Mi. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Dick was born on July 24, 1931 in Plymouth, Indiana. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Ball State University. Dick served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and received an honorable discharge. He was and educator in the Kalamazoo Public Schools for 34 years. Dick was preceded in death by his parents Lindley and Dorothy Servis, and son Brett Alan. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Jill Antolovich (Rob), grandson Jason (Mandy), Matthew, and great grandson Harrison along with one nephew and four nieces. A military service will be held at Fort Custer Cemetery in Battle Creek, Mi. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
