Richard L. Mohr

Richard Lewis Mohr, age 70, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Racine, January 3, 1947 and had been a lifelong resident.

Richie graduated from William Horlick High School “Class of 1966” and had lettered in track and cross country. He was an avid coin collector and used his silver coin collection to buy his first house. Richie retired from Racine Steel Castings (formerly Belle City Malleable) after 34 years.

A kind hearted gentle soul, Richie leaves this earth to join his mom, Shirley, dad, Harvey and his brother Kurt in heaven. Surviving are his sisters, Cathy (Tom) Kaiser, Linda (John) Harmeyer; his brother, Eric (Ruth) Mohr; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Private services will be held.

The family would like to thank everyone who provided Richie with friendship and love over the years throughout the good times and bad.
