Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020. Richard was born Jan. 30, 1943 in Jackson, Miss., the son of Rev. Willie and Dora (McDonald) Gill. He had been a resident of Kalamazoo for most of his life. A homegoing celebration is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo MI 49009, with Rev.
