Richard C. Copeland of Portage, MI died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the age of 85. Richard served in the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, November 18th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday November 19, 2016 at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 9420 Portage Rd., with Rev. Joan M. Herbon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, or the Kalamazoo Humane Society's Spay and Neuter Program.
