Rev. Harold A. Knickerbocker, age 94, of Grand Rapids went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son Dan; and his brother Bruce; he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carolyn; his children Charles Knickerbocker, Pat (Steve) Werdon, David (Laura) Knickerbocker, Bette (Todd) Ohlman; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Ronald (Betty) Knickerbocker; sister Margaret (John) Sparkman; and several nieces and nephews. Harold was a 1953 graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary. In his years of pastoral ministries, Rev. Knickerbocker served at North Casnovia Baptist Church, Clare Baptist Church, Alpine Baptist Church, Midway Baptist Church. Following retirement, Harold and Carolyn traveled with Canadian Revival Fellowship. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, at 2:00 PM at Rest Haven Homes, 1424 Union NE. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 6, at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE from 2:00 – 4:00PM.
