Died Saturday afternoon June 16, 2018 at his residence. Raymond was born October 31, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois a son of Helge and Lucy (Willerton) Stoltzner. Years ago, he served honorably with the U.S. Air Force. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 20 years, coming from South Haven. Raymond was employed with the Palisades Power Plant in South Haven for years before retiring. He was also a member of the South Haven Elks Club. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Betty Wright and Pauline Taylor; and 2 brothers-in-law, Louis Wright and Bob Taylor. On October 13, 1951, he was united in marriage to Gloria Sue (Riede) Stoltzner who survives. Also surviving, a daughter, Cheryl Stoltzner of Portage; 2 grandchildren, Amy and Nickolas (Kaila Sikkenga) Stoltzner; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Virginia) Stoltzner of Venice, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Disabilities Network of Southwest Michigan or to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
