Ragen Stone

Ragen Stone, 61, of New River, Arizona, passed away March 22, 2018. She was born in Paw Paw, Michigan on June 21st, 1956 to Walter and Violet Owsiany. Ragen, closest family members always called her Carol or CJ, graduated from Mattawan High School, 1974. She endured four marriages before deciding no man was good enough, and she lived with Blair, her 4-year old female rescue dog. Ragen-Carol began an active career owning and operating Kixx Health Club in Paw Paw where she was also the fitness trainer. In the 1980s she managed the local Crystal Flash gas station & convenience store, when retail stores were a new concept at gas stations. She lived in Michigan, Georgia, New Mexico and finally settled in Arizona, living in Cottonwood and later New River. She enjoyed meeting new people and in her spare time liked to draw. She doted on her dog Blair, and loved animals of all kinds. Ragen-Carol is survived by her sister Mary Ann Berry, brothers Dick and Roger Owsiany, her nephews Raymond Berry, Walt Jr., Tom, Nathan and Garrett Owsiany, and her niece Robin Ponicki (Berry).
