Phyllis Humphries

Phyllis Humphries, age 72, of Otsego, MI passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. . Phyllis was born in Salyersville, KY on July 6, 1944, the daughter of Edward and Geraldine (Begal) Arnett. She served her country in the United States Women's Army Corps. She retired from Allegan County Community Mental Health. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Melvin) Walker-Guyton; three grandchildren, Brittney (Justin), Justine (Dustin) and Payne; five grandchildren, Emma, Nina, Amelia, Keegan and Nathan; three sisters and three brothers, Thelma Hawley, Linda (Ted) Collins, Deb (Gary) Tefft, Edward (Trisha) Arnett Jr., Terry (Sue) Arnett and Delbert (Brenda) Arnett; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brett Alan Humphries; and one sister, Carol Gilman. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to a Veteran Affairs organization of the donor's choice. Langeland Family Funeral Homes
