Peggy Lou Erhardt

Surrounded by her loving family, Peggy Lou Erhardt, age 73, passed away at her home Monday morning, February 26, 2018. She was born in Racine, September 28, 1944, daughter of the late Donald and Alda (Nee: Tessman) Iverson.

On April 30, 1966 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church she was united in marriage to Russell C. Erhardt. Peggy owned and operated W.E. Opticians in Kenosha with Jim White for thirty years. She was previously employed by Ransom Optician in Racine. In her younger years she enjoyed ceramics and bowling with her friends. Above all Peggy will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Russell; her children, Troy (Chris) Erhardt, Todd Erhardt; her five grandchildren, Anthony (Shana) Erhardt, Justin Erhardt, Tyler Erhardt, Shelbie Erhardt (fiancé, Miguel Tobias), Cody (Maggie) Erhardt; her great-granddaughter, Ivy; sisters and brothers, Rose Koke, Donald (Dale) Iverson, Bob (Carol) Iverson, Barbara Hush, Diane Gatzke; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice Holmes, Dennis (Mary) Erhardt, Sherry (Jack) Stephans, Carla (Robert) Kenyon, Lynn (Don) Schroeder; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather who raised her, Rollie Fellion; In-laws Russell R. Erhardt and Henrietta I. Erhardt, brothers-in-law, John Koke and Doug Holmes; and her cousin, Linda Scheffler.

A Memorial Service with interment will be held Friday, March 2, 2018, 11:30 A.M. at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 9000 Washington Avenue, with Chaplain Kelly Vanderstappen officiating.
