Pearl Richter

Pearl L. Richter, age 77, of Kalamazoo, MI died quietly at home, surrounded by her family, Saturday evening November 12, 2016 at her residence. Pearl was born June 20, 1939 in Antwerp Township, Michigan a daughter of Alfred and Viola (Osborn) Randall. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the HeartCenter for Excellence for 13 years before retiring. She had also worked at Checker Motors, Gibson Guitar Company, and Shakespeare. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Donald W. Richter on May 4, 2007. She is survived by 3 children, Jacqueline (James) Dunn and Sheri Richter all of Comstock, and Doreen (William) Anderson of Delton; 8 grandchildren, Kevin and Tara, Jamie, Heather, Aaron, Amber, Joannalee, Kaylee, and Molly; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters, Virginia Pierce of Jackson, MI, Mildred Henson of Gobles, Ruth Proctor of Decatur, AL, Lorraine Young of Augusta, Joanna Bond of Climax, and Betty (Leonard) Blake of Climax; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday, November 18th from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. Memorials may be directed to Kairos Dwelling or to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
