Paul Kersten

Passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Paul was born May 28, 1925 in Elkhart, IN a son of the late Frank and Bernice (Porter) Kersten. On September 20, 1945, Paul married Barbara House, who preceded him in death in August of 2011. A WWII veteran, Paul served in the U.S. Navy from May of 1943 until honorably discharged in March of 1946, receiving several service awards. Paul is survived by their daughters, Carol (Larry) Satchfield, Kay (Bill) Lauritsen, Julie Sykes and Debra (Steven) Christenson; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Paul was also preceded in death by his brother, William Kersten. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. A private graveside service will take place at Ft.
