Surrounded by his loving family, Paul C. Stutzke, age 89, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his residence. Paul was born in Pommern, Germany, October 14, 1928, son of the late Paul and Emma (Nee: Dreyfus) Stutzke.

On July 26, 1952 he was united in marriage to Erna Sommerfeld. In his younger years he was employed as a painter by Ruffalo Decorating, lastly by Postorino Decorating. Paul was a longtime member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and German Club. He enjoyed music, polka dancing, fishing, woodworking, camping, grilling and was a Packer fan. Paul will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor and firm handshake. Above all he devoted and cherished time spent with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Erna; his children, Carol Stutzke (Larry Lamb), Barb Stutzke, Jeff (Vicki) Stutzke; his three grandchildren, Jason (Brellyn) Ellenberger, Wyatt (Meekala) Stutzke, Sam Stutzke; his five great-grandchildren, Jason, Caleb, Walker, Wayne and Weston; relatives in Germany, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa Street, with Rev. John Roekle officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church have been suggested.
