BLAAK – Mr. Paul C. Blaak, aged 73 of Grand Rapids passed away Thursday March 19, 2015. Surviving are his wife Lois Blaak, his children: Paul and Elizabeth Blaak, Susan and Mark Walkotten, his grandchildren: Kevin and Sarah Walkotten, Katie and Jason Klaasen, David and Lindsay Walkotten, Laura and John Kersten, Jessica, Jonathan, Andrew, Matthew and Charity Walkotten, Daniel, Lillian, Mitchell, Ruth and Timothy Blaak; his great grandchildren: Tanner Klaasen and Keaton Walkotten, his sisters and brothers-in-law: Annette and Hubert Kraayeveld, Leona and Han van den Berg, Fred van Atten and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Francis (Medema) Bouma and Johanna van Atten. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 10 AM at the First Netherlands Reformed Church, 1261 Beckwith N.E. with Rev. C. Vogelaar officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Van’t Hof Chapel, 851 Leonard St. N.W. Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
