Patrick E. Kruse

Patrick E. Kruse, age 70, passed Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Racine, June 12, 1946, son of the late Melvin and Ione (Nee: Brodell) Kruse.

Patrick was a graduate of William Horlick High School “Class of 1965”. On October 10, 1966 he was united in marriage to Ellen M. Drasen who preceded him in death, December 21, 2013. He was employed by the Racine Police Department for seven years, Metropolitan Liquor for five years, and lastly Paterno Imports as the Regional Director. Patrick was a former member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his buddies. Most of all he cherished his family and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his daughters, Mindy Kruse (Oriol) Ferrer of Racine, Michelle Kruse of Carlisle, PA; his grandchildren, Patrick Kruse, Bryce Kruse, Josep Ferrer, Sofia Ferrer; his three great-grandchildren, Serenidy, Journey and Mya; brothers, James Kruse, Jerry Kruse; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 23, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to the Arthritis Association have been suggested.
