Patricia Rosenbaum

Patricia L. Rosenbaum, age 68, passed away July 4, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born May 5, 1949, in Ishpeming, MI, daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Nee: Parkkonen) Gelmi.

On April 25, 1970 she was united in marriage to Alan Rosenbaum. Patricia was employed by Ruud Lighting for a number of years. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. She will forever be remembered for her flair of decorating for every holiday, her beautiful gardens, and traveling to Disney World. Above all she cherished time with her family and was known as Nana to many children.

She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Alan; children, Dean Rosenbaum (Beth May), Trisha (Brian) Holst, Michael (Shauna) Rosenbaum; grandchildren: Garret, Samuel, Emily, Nick, Nicole, Megan, Sarah, Joseph, Elle, Emma, Lorenzo, Aaron, Tatiana, Addison, Bo and Mya; a bundle of joy and her first great grandson, Finn is expected in August. Brother, Paul (Connie) Gelmi Jr, sister, Nancy (George) Ulrickson; brother-in-law, Larry (Lyn) Rosenbaum; sisters-in-law, Martha Hilgers, Pearl (Richard) Kielbauch; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Patricia’s life will be held Tuesday July 11, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3100 95th St. Sturtevant, with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation on Monday July 10, from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home and on Tuesday at 10:30 until time of Mass at the Church. Memorials to Mayo Clinic have been suggested by the family.
