Patricia M. Barrows, age 86, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at her home. Patricia was born in Racine, January 11, 1931, daughter of the late John and Lena (Nee: Milkie) Sura.

On September 1, 1951 she was united in marriage to Howard E. Barrows who preceded her in death, April 16, 1980. She was employed for several years at Health and Nutrition Services, retiring in 1995. Patricia was a longtime member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, puzzles, coloring, gardening, gambling at Oneida, and attending Fireside productions. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Lynn (Joseph) Langer of Green Bay, Sue (Ralph) Lipari of Racine; her grandchildren, Jeni (Tim) Funk, Paula (Jon) Schueler, Emily (Brady) Johnson, Courtney Langer, Stephanie Martens, Lindsay (Chris) Thilburg, John (Jodi-Lyn) Martens; her great-grandchildren, Cadence, Maddox, Edwin, Henry, Desmond, and Lennen; sister, Loretta Barrows of Racine; special niece, Kathy Weidman, other nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Ted (Hilda) Sura; sister, Joann Eckert; and brother-in-law, Ralph Barrows.

A Memorial Service with interment will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017, 12:00 P.M. at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 9000 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Arthritis Foundation have been suggested.
