Patricia Kubiak

Patricia J. Kubiak, age 72 of Canton died Friday, November 30, 2018. Born October 14, 1946 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Milford and Marian Bengtson Bergstrom. On October 8, 1966 in Redford, Michigan, she was united in marriage to Thomas Kubiak. Together they celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Kubiak preceded his wife in death August 30, 2015. After becoming a registered nurse, she devoted her nursing career for over 30 years at Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MI. She enjoyed reading, gardening, antiquing, and was a world traveler. Most of all she will be remembered as a devoted "Mimi" to her grandchildren. Survived by children Michael (Kelly) Kubiak, Brian Kubiak and Holly Kubiak-Squashic, grandchildren AJ, Derek, Grace, Ben, Jack and Kate, brothers Johnny (Wendy) Bergstrom and Billy Bergstrom, and sister Susie Carr. Susie, her dear sister, confidant and best buddy, was also Patricia's loving caregiver as her health declined.
