Ollie Wagner

Passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ollie was born December 22, 1959 in Watervliet, the son of Max and Donna (Smith) Wagner and had lived in the Gobles area since 2006. He worked at Sackett's in Gobles, loved having a beer with his brothers-in-law, fishing, the outdoors, Canada, and working in his yard. He had a big heart, and loved spending time with his family, friends and dogs. Surviving are his wife, Kris, whom he married Nov. 25, 2006; daughter, Jessica Wagner of FL; son, Christopher Wagner of FL; 2 granddaughters, Amiaha, Elaine "Laine"; 3 sisters, Sylvia (Audie) Moore of Benton Harbor, Deb (Andy) VanDerbeck of Niles, Cheri (Wes) Schreiber of Bloomingdale; in-laws, Veryl "PeeWee," Ken (Diana), Kirk, Kip Kridler and many nieces and nephews, all who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Max Wagner Jr.; and stepdad, Don Schmidtman. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at the family home 1-3 PM Saturday, September 21, 2019 with Pastor Gary Napp officiating.
