Norma Cook

Norma H. Cook, age 94, of Kendall, MI passed away Wed., June 22, 2016. Norma was born May 18, 1922, in Mason City, Iowa. She had been a long-time member of the Gobles United Methodist Church and enjoyed baking and gardening. Norma had worked until retirement as a baker at Western Michigan University. Surviving are her 2 children, Thomas Cook and Judy Piper; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Cook; 3 granddaughters, Kimberly (David), Erica (Andrew) and Angie (Jim); 4 great granddaughters, Riley, Kaitlan, Grace and Maddie; a brother, Donald. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and a son, Ray. Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will meet friends for a memorial visitation on Wed., July 6, from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM at the GOBLES CHAPEL, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Gobles United Methodist Church or Great Lakes Hospice.
