Gidley-Harrison, Nina 10/22/1949 - 11/20/2016 Wake Forest, North Carolina Nina Jean Gidley Harrison, 67, of Wake Forest, NC died Sunday November 20th in her home. Nina grew up in a small town in N. Michigan, eventually finding her way to Kalamazoo and finally settling in Wake Forest, NC. Nina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother known for always putting family first, her uncompromising spirit, her humor, her insistent desire for more hugs, a steady diet of chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, Coca-Cola, popcorn, and coffee. After she checks in with friends and family, you may find her at the heavenly casino. Her hugs surely will be missed by those surviving - her husband, Keith Harrison; her children, Matthew Gidley and Kelly Rosado; four grandchildren; her sister Sally Lilak; and two nephews. The family is forever grateful to her for teaching them what true love and family really mean. Nina's parents, Hugh Richard and Evelyn Ann Gidley, and her brother Jim Gidley, preceded her in death. No funeral services will be held. There will be a memorial service sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2017, in East Jordan, MI. Will annouce later.
