Nicholas R. Strobbe Sr. (SFC)

Passed away on Saturday, August 5th. 2017, at the age of 52. Nick was born on Sept 4th, 1964. He was employed by Swift Transportation. He proudly served in the US Army for 4 years, including the 82nd Airborne Division. He served as an Army Reservist for 16 years as Sgt. 1st Class.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Strobbe Sr. and sister, Laura Warren. He is survived by his son, Airman 1st Class, Nicholas R. Strobbe Jr., mother Mary L. Strobbe, brothers, Mark E. and Robert E. Strobbe Jr (Lorelle Anderson), and sisters, Merci A. (Thomas) Duffy, Melissa M. (Christian) Olson and Shannon Godlewski, mother of Nicholas Jr. Further survived by best friend Cory Schield, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 802 N Jackson St., Milwaukee, WI 53202 from 9:30 am until the time of Memorial Mass at 10:30 am.

Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
