Worthington, Nancy Kay Vicksburg Passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Age 57. Nancy was born in Kalamazoo on September 18, 1959, the daughter of Phyllis (Holt) Smith and the late, Roy Smith. She was a graduate of Vicksburg High School Class of 1977. She was employed as a Sales Executive for Midwest Communications for over ten years. She was loving, caring and sensitive person, who loved her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was very creative and quick witted. She loved her work and also enjoyed reading. She had a strong love and compassion for animals and loved her kitties dearly. She is survived by her son, Tyler (Jennifer Hampton) Worthington; her mother, Phyllis Smith; two sisters, Karen (Ted) Hammond and Amy Smith; two nieces, Lyndsay and Abby Hammond; many cousins; and many dear friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3rd at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., with Pastor Ed Schmidt officiating. Following the service friends are invited to visit with the family for a reception and share stories about Nancy.
