Nancy Wilkins

Nancy Anne (Olvitt) Wilkins, of Paw Paw, MI, formerly of Lombard, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at the age of 76. Nancy was born in Kalamazoo MI to Gail L & Beryl F (Look) Olvitt, and grew up in Parchment. Nancy moved to Lombard in 1966 with her growing family and became an active member of the community through various means of service. Over the course of many years, she was a Girl Scout & Boy Scout leader for local troops, including those of her children and grandchildren. She spent summers coaching girls softball and working as an umpire for the Lombard Park District girls' softball league. She took numerous trips to disaster relief areas to volunteer with the Red Cross. She later settled into retirement with her husband Jim at a beautiful lake house in Michigan where she loved to kayak and host the family for visits (the more, the merrier). Nancy is survived by daughters Debra Mullen, Julie (Randy) Rumsey, grandchildren Bryan (Sarah) Mullen, Angela Rumsey (Hale Sostock), Tiffany (Evan) Fowler, and Jessica (Mike) Arturi, great grandchildren Mikey and Ava Arturi, sisters-in-law Karen (Don) Henry and Shelley Jordan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her loving husband of 55 years James R Wilkins and brother Jerry Olvitt.
