Nancy Stewart Pobst, age 86, of Grand Rapids MI. Tuesday January 16. ALS In the mid 1970's Nancy and Dick Pobst settled in Ada, MI and opened the Thornapple Orvis Shop. Nancy was an avid reader, savvy conversationalist, and entrepreneur. She delighted in "good" dinner table conversations and held herself and others to the highest standard of integrity. She read multiple newspapers daily in order to be stayed well informed on the latest politics and was determined to stay alive long enough to see who won this most recent presidential election. She was pleased with the results. A friends and family gathering will be held on Saturday, January 20th from 3-6 pm at the Porter Hills Retirement Community in the Gallery Room.
