Age 68 Mattawan Mi Wednesday All systems suddenly failed. Born November 21 1950 At 6:05 on April 25, 2018, our Nancy (Nanny-Nino) drifted from us to be welcomed by Dad Phil Campbell, Mom Donna Slater Campbell, Brother Stan Campbell, Sister Leanne Sue Campbell King, great nephew Sean Michael Matteson, and nephew in-law Adam McElhone . Missing her beyond measure will be husband, of 33 years, Gregg Greider, son TK Muraoka, son Sean Muraoka, daughter Zaz Maples, Sis Phyl Campbell Matteson, twin granddaughters Brittany & Caitlin Muraoka, granddaughter Lyric Muraoka, twin grandsons Chase & Chandler Maples, grandson Porter Muraoka, parents-in-law Sherman Sr. & MaryAnn Greider, brothers-in-law Sherman Jr. (MaryAnn) & Gary (Sheryl) Greider, sisters-in-law Gayle (Dan) Green & Christine (Tim) McElhone, 9 in-law nieces/nephews~15 great nieces/nephews, and pets Odin & Willa. Nancy graduated from Portage Central. Her sunny, quirky, light hearted personality charmed all lucky enough to be graced by her presence. She always said "I'm just a good kid trying to get along." Her love for and devotion to animals found her rescuing numerous dogs including several beautiful shy greyhounds. She had a magical way with children and animals. She walked the 450 acres of State land behind the house every day with her fur babies. Her talent for music led her from drumming in the school band to appearing professionally, sharing her strong singing voice all around Southwest Michigan at bars and festivals, including the Kalamazoo Blues festival and the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest festival, ....even making an appearance on stage with Eddie Money. Nancy became a central figure in several families along her way, keeping close ties even after situations eventually changed, as she did with many lifetime friends. Those with whom she related meant the world to her. During her mother's declining years, Nancy and Gregg moved to the homestead property in the woods to be there for her. Within that time, she babysat for all of the grandchildren, played in rock, country, and blues bands, drove school busses and cared for Mom, loving every minute. When that phase sadly ended, they moved way out further in the woods near Gregg's work, and except for a short stay caring for the Old Mill in Leonidas, they have lived there for the better part of the last 2 decades. Her greatest pleasures then became babysitting for the twin boys and wandering the forest with her dogs. Her creativity grew until her passion turned to making fabulous quilts that will go down in family history. There will be a cremation done by Whitley. Stay Tuned! Yet to be announced. a rock and roll party in Nancy's honor to be held at Nino's lodge in the woods. At that time you will find envelopes available for donations in her name to the SPCA or it can be done by visiting https://spcaswmich.networkforgood.com/
