Nadine Theodore

Nadine L. Theodore, age 95, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born January 9, 1921 in Kalamazoo to the late Henning and Neta (Davis) Peterson. She was united in marriage to Arthur Theodore, Sr. on June 26, 1940, who preceded her in death in 1966. Nadine enjoyed her family very much. She loved having her grandchildren and great grandchildren around every chance she got, this included watching them play hockey, dance, compete in cheerleading and so much more. She loved life, sewing and watching her favorite bird, the cardinal. She was, and IS loved by all that she touched throughout her life and she will never be forgotten. Nadine is survived by her children, Dwight (Charlene Powaga) Theodore, Terri (Joseph) Young, and Teresa Theodore; grandchildren, Arthur "Trey" (Teri) Theodore III, Aiko Theodore, Matthew Theodore, Erica Theodore, Neta (Kevin) Taggett, Jason Theodore, Nikki Theodore; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Nadine was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur H. (Kitty Mae) Theodore, Jr.; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will greet friends on Saturday, April 30th from 12-1:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Graveside service will be Saturday, April 30th at 1:30pm in the Chapel of Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nadine's name may be directed to the American Heart Association or to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
